2013 Player Survey and 2014 Preview

tuesday (241)Prior to last year’s World Am, we vowed to do everything we could to make the 30th anniversary event one of the best. Based on our post-tournament survey, which more than half of all participants completed, we feel like we feel like we made good on that promise.

Here is what you – the players – had to say. Keep in mind that we deemed anyone who rated the tournament good, very good or excellent as satisfied. If you click on the link below, you will see that very good and excellent were the most popular choices, which put a smile on the face of our tournament staff.

As happy as we are with the 2013, we are not wavering in our commitment to enhancing the experience in 2014. With everything that went well last year, there are areas of the tournament that can be improved and we are excited to take on the challenge.

This tournament is something that every participant, volunteer, exhibitor, sponsor and staff thursday (99)member should be proud of; it is the world’s largest amateur golf tournament for a reason. There is no other event like it in the world, and we take the responsibility of keeping it that way very seriously. So as we get geared up for 2014, the 31st edition of the Myrtle Beach World Amateur, we hope that you are as excited as we are for another great year.

Entry opens March 25th and we will be in touch with some exciting details about early random drawing prizes, the gift bag, what to expect at the 19th hole, celebrity guests and more over the next few weeks.

See you all in August!!!
