The World Am is almost upon us and the tournament committee would like to reiterate important dates each participant should be familiar with leading up to the tournament.
Important Dates:
- Pre-August 1st – ALL participants should have an established USGA (or international) equivalent established! If you do not, please CLICK HERE to obtain one immediately.
- August 1st – All INTERNATIONAL participants are requested to submit handicap forms.
- International Participants handicap index request date. E-mail sent to all participants outside of USA. NOTE: This has NO relation to the Club Choice Ireland Pairs competition.
- August 2nd – Tournament registration closes.
- August 8th – All INTERNATIONAL participants handicap forms are due back.
- August 14th – All scores should be posted to your USGA handicap index.
- Scores posted after August 14th will have NO impact on your tournament handicap index. For more information, review our handicap page HERE.
- August 15th – All DOMESTIC participants handicap forms are requested.
- Domestic US participant handicap request date. An e-mail will be sent to all participants keeping handicaps in the USA. Deadline to complete the handicap submission form for US Participants is August 17th by 2PM ET. Failure to maintain a USGA index or submit information can result in being deemed ineligible for prizes.
- This is different than the ‘club validation form’ we sent you previously. The first of two forms you previously filed was to confirm you maintain a proper USGA index. This secondary form is to obtain relevant data to determine your tournament index.
- This is when you’ll be able to do the following:
- Request to be in the same flight as a fellow competitor for transportation reasons.
- Request to be in the same pairing as a fellow player in the just for fun flight.
- Not applicable for Gross Divisions
- August 17th – All DOMESTIC participant handicap forms are due back by 2PM ET.
- Failure to complete these forms in a timely manner can result in:
- ineligibility for prizes
- lack of being assigned courses

- August 20th – latest anticipated date of course assignments announced.
- Begin to book practice rounds! More information is found HERE.
- August 25th – Check in day 1
- Held at the NORTH Myrtle Beach PGA TOUR Superstore from 9A – 7PM
- August 26th – Check in day 2
- Held at the MYRTLE Beach PGA TOUR Superstore (across from Broadway) from 9A – 5PM
- August 26th – Welcome Party
- The Avenue at Broadway at the Beach – 5PM – 8PM
Other important information:
- You may request to be paired with up to one (1) other player at our pre-tournament skins games. To do so, fill out this form HERE.
- August 26th by 5PM – deadline to register for ‘tournaments within the tournament’ – Club Choice Ireland and/or Parent/Child Competition
- Golfboard will be at select host courses free of charge, click HERE to pre-register to be eligible to ride!
- You can book a practice round at any course at any time even if you are not schedule to play there (booking window restrictions may apply).
