Golf Tourism Solutions Launches Iron Horse Challenge, Rewarding Players Who Compete In Recreational Golf’s Greatest Series of Events

Golf Tourism Solutions, the agency responsible for promoting Myrtle Beach as a golf destination, has launched the Iron Horse Challenge, an effort that will reward players who participate in the organization’s industry-leading series of amateur golf tournaments.

Golf Tourism Solutions runs seven events, including the PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com World Amateur Handicap Championship, that are catered to recreational players who enjoy the competitive golf experience.

Players that participate in all seven events, spanning 2021-22, will receive a custom Vessel golf bag at next year’s World Am. The seven events golfers must compete in are:

Fall Classic, a 72-hole two-person team event, Nov. 14-18, 2021

Preseason Classic, 54-hole, two-person tournament, February 2022

World Am Q-School, 54-hole, individual, net stroke play, March 2022

GolfBuddy Veterans Golf Classic, 54-hole, two-person team event, May 2022

GolfTrek Challenge, 54-hole, two-person team event, June 2022

World Amateur Handicap Championship, Aug. 29-Sept. 2, 2022

Saintnine World Couples Championship, two-day, 54-hole, man-woman tourney, Sept. 5-6, 2022

“We have so many golfers that compete in nearly all of our events, we thought the Iron Horse Challenge would be a nice way to thank players for their loyalty and incentivize them to continue playing,” said Scott Tomasello, who runs the GTS tournament division. “We look forward to honoring our most loyal players with a customized Vessel golf bag.”
