TPC Myrtle Beach will play host to the 2022 World Am Flight Winners Playoff

Most avid golfers would agree that one of the most special feelings of playing a golf course with history and prestige is the idea that you are teeing it up on the same turf as some of the game’s greats, past & present. Getting to enjoy the same sights, sounds, and memories that championship caliber golfers before you have experienced.

In 2022, the World Amateur Handicap Championship final round will give competitors the chance to do just that at TPC Myrtle Beach. Major champions have tested their mettle at the Tom Fazio designed Tournament Players Club. Located on the southern end of Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet, TPC Myrtle Beach has played host to competitive rounds from heroes of the game new & old like Tom Watson, Dustin Johnson, Lee Trevino, & Collin Morikawa. Win your flight at the World Am and just like them, you will earn the opportunity to hoist the trophy and call yourself a Champion.

The World Am is excited to bring the Flight Winners Playoff in 2022 to TPC Myrtle Beach. Originally planned to be hosted a 2nd time at the Grande Dunes Resort Club, a massive renovation project on their greens and bunkers left the tournament team looking for a new home in 2022 to host the World Am final round.

“We knew TPC would be a perfect landing spot. They have hosted some of the areas most elite and prestigious events over the years, including the World Am Final Round. Their team is great and we look forward to showcasing their beautiful property this year” said Tournament Director Scott Tomasello. Former host of the PGA Tour’s Senior Tour Championship, and annual host of the Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship, TPC Myrtle Beach has it all. One of the most challenging designs at the Grand Strand, and always in magnificent shape, TPC will give World Am competitors a true slice of Championship golf.

Players will tee it up for the Championship Final Round of the 2022 World Amateur Handicap Championship on Friday, September 2nd, 2022 at TPC Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet with tee times starting at 7:30AM.
