For 40 years, the Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship has been an iconic event on the global golfing calendar. This event brings together players of all skill levels, from beginners to scratch golfers, making it one of the most inclusive and unique tournaments in the world.

The tournament’s rich history is filled with unforgettable moments and the sheer joy of playing the game we all adore. Over the years, countless friendships have been forged on the fairways, and lifelong memories have been created amidst the landscapes of Myrtle Beach golf courses and the world’s largest 19th Hole.

World Am Champ Celebrates 2025 Title with Tennessee Home Course Members

The Play Golf Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship team traveled to Three Ridges Golf Course in Knoxville, Tennessee, to formally honor 2025 World Champion Scott Collette with an onsite trophy presentation at his home course. Dozens of family members, friends, and fellow members of the Three Ridges community gathered to recognize Collette’s outstanding achievement at the 2025 Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship in The Golf Capital of the World®. The event marked a proud moment for both Collette and his home club, celebrating his triumph over a field of nearly 3,000 competitors from across the globe.
