The 2019 PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com World Amateur kicks things into gear with a bang on Sunday, August 25th at the Avenue at Broadway at the Beach! Get the party started off right and come check out one of Myrtle Beach’s most iconic attractions while getting ready for one of the best golf events in the world!
After registration at the PGA TOUR Superstore from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the Welcome Party will get started at 5 o’clock and carry on into the night. World Am players and a guest will experience a kickoff party like no other down on “The Avenue” at Broadway. Some great random drawing prizes will be given away at the Welcome Party like a FREE 2020 World Am entry, three Club Glove Collegiate Travel Bags, clubs and more! You must be present to win!
“The Avenue” is home to more than 10 restaurants and four nightclubs, all offering discounts to tournament players, and the Charlie Snuggs Blues Trio will be rocking! Local hot spots like Oz, Crocadile Rocks and Malibu’s Surf Bar among others will be popping with all kinds of fun while golfers from across the world gather to enjoy food & drinks and trade World Am stories from years past. Drink specials will be offered at select establishments across “The Avenue” for World Am players & their guests to enjoy.
