Registration for the 34th annual Myrtle Beach World Amateur Handicap Championship opened smoothly at 9 a.m. this morning at the PGA Tour Superstore in Myrtle Beach.
The line to check in began forming at 8:30 a.m. with players anxious to officially launch this year’s event before heading to the course. Saturday registration will run until 7 p.m.
In addition to registration, there will be a World Am skins game at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Heritage Club. The sold-out event cost $45 to play in and included golf, lunch, two draft beverages of your choice, and a closest to the pin contest on every par 3 for a $50 gift card.
On Sunday, registration will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Myrtle Beach PGA Tour Superstore before people move to the World Am’s annual welcome party, which will be held at House of Blues from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
