Media Roundup: Rocket Lands at the World Am

Baseball legend Roger Clemens’ second appearance at the Golf.com World Am attracted many of the opening day headlines but he was far from the only one.

Clemens tells the Houston Chronicle he brought six friends to this year’s event, including former major leaguer Danny Darwin. The Rocket, who shot an 84 Monday at Diamondback, says his wife is the real golfer in the family, according to the Sun News.

Tom Janik tells the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette he relishes the opportunity to compete like a pro for a week.
