Stars to Come Out at the 19th Hole

Tuesday will be a celebrity-filled night at the World’s Largest 19th Hole. Golf Channel star Charlie Rymer will again be on-hand to emcee the festivities, and he will be joined by celebrity guests John Daly, a two-time major champion, and television personality Win McMurry.

Certainly not to be overlooked are billiards hall of famer Ewa Laurance and former American Idol winner Taylor Hicks, who will be playing two sets at World Am Live tonight! Hicks’ two sets will begin at 6:15 and 8:00 p.m.

Sirius/XM Radio’s Katrek & Maginnes On Tap show will again broadcast live from the main stage, and it will be followed by John Daly’s show, Hit it Hard, at 7 p.m.

Tonight’s food will be catered by Big Mike’s, Black Thai, Chck-Fil-A, Dirty Don’s, Jimmy John’s and Sheraton, in addition to our nightly helping of Friendly’s Ice Cream. So come hungry!

The 19th Hole is open from 6 to 9 p.m.

Scott Collette Wins 2025 Play Golf Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship

Scott Collette from Knoxville, Tennessee is the official World Amateur golf champion, defeating 59 other golfers in the Flight Winners Playoff of the 2025 Play Golf Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship Friday played at Thistle Golf Club in Sunset Beach, N.C.

Collette defeated Doug Harvey (Zebulon, N.C.) in a three-hole playoff. Richard Marriott (Paget, Bermuda) finished third, with five golfers tying for fourth place.
