Sunday Preview: Live Music, Drinks and Giveaways Await at Welcome Party

We are less than 24 hours from the first tee shot being struck at the 35th annual World Am and the excitement is building!

Registration runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the PGA Tour Superstore in Myrtle Beach, so if you haven’t checked-in, make sure you do so.

Our annual Welcome Party is tonight at The Avenue at Broadway at the Beach. The party will run from 5 p.m. until you are ready to go home and feature live music, random drawing prizes and drink specials.

The Avenue is home to more than 10 restaurants and four nightclubs, all offering discounts to tournament players, and the Blues Crew Band will be performing.

Among the items being given away tonight are:

— Entry into to the 2019 World Am

— Free foursome at any Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday Course

— Voice caddie GPS system

— TaylorMade Spider putters

World Am Course Rotation Includes Four Fit for a “King”

Of the 55 participating courses in this year’s Play Golf Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship just four bear the treasured signature of “The King,” Arnold Palmer. World Am Champ Helps Kick Off PGA TOUR Event in Style

A world champ met another audience on the world stage recently, as 2025 Play Golf Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship winner Scott Collette was invited to help kick off the PGA TOUR’s 2026 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic with the honor of delivering the event’s ceremonial first tee shot.
