Taking it outside at the 19th Hole

The World Am is so excited for the return of the world’s largest 19th Hole in 2021. We all certainly learned a lot in 2020, and one important thing is the need to simply “think OUTSIDE the box”.

Well, we took the OUTSIDE part of the phrase quite literally.

The 19th Hole in 2021 will feature an all-new outdoor area at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, featuring all sorts of “fun in the sun” for everyone at the World Am to experience! Getting the world outside was definitely a bright spot of the past year, with golf booming across the board, other outdoor activities have become a go-to for families and friends all over. We want to highlight that experience at the 19th Hole by offering a slew of outdoor options for participants and their guests to enjoy.

Come out to the beautiful courtyard space just in front of the Convention Center and you can see your name on the giant LED digital scoreboard front and center just like a PGA Tour event. Throughout the week we will be featuring some great live music in the outdoor area as well, check it out!

As always, we know everyone at the 19th Hole is going to be thirsty, so grab a tasty ice-cold beverage from our outdoor beer wagon no doubt! Paired with the fully stocked beer wagon will be a spread of outdoor backyard games like cornhole, giant size Jenga, disc golf, bocce & more! If you’re hungry some of Myrtle Beach’s local food trucks will be stopping by to dish out some delicious eats all week.

The 19th Hole is back, and we are so excited to debut the all-new outdoor area to the best tournament golf experience in the game. The World Am can’t come soon enough! We look forward to seeing each of every one of you, so grab those sticks and go practice, the World Am is getting close!

World Am Course Rotation Includes Four Fit for a “King”

Of the 55 participating courses in this year’s Play Golf Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship just four bear the treasured signature of “The King,” Arnold Palmer. Of those, two in particular stand out not just for their top-shelf designs but also for notable upgrades each has received in the past few years alone.
