World Am Will Again Serve As Host Of U.S. International Pairs Qualifier

The Golf.com World Amateur Handicap Championship will again serve as the United States qualifier for the International Pairs Championship, providing World Am participants a tournament within the tournament.

A team event, the winner of the IP (REGISTER NOW) will receive an expenses paid trip to Scotland to compete in the 2013 IP World Championship. Teams can consist of any two World Am participants, regardless of handicap, age, or gender. Both team members must be competitors in the World Am.

After 54 holes of combined team, net stroke play competition (Monday-Wednesday), the five teams with the lowest scores will advance to the Championship round on Friday, August 31 at TPC Myrtle Beach. After an 18-hole shootout, an IP champion is crowned.

Entry fee is $120 per team or $60 per individual. Players can bring a teammate or be paired with one by the tournament committee.

The top 10 teams in the field receive a prize.
